According to the Financial Times (July 31, 2007), demand for executive-level interim managers is at an all time high because of a combination of talent shortages, time constraints on permanent managers and the need for wisdom and experience.
Interim Marketing Leadership (IML) refers to a consulting assignment for a C-level professional as THE or one of the senior marketing leaders in an organization on a short-term or part-time basis. It also allows an organization to gain supplemental expertise to complete a high-priority project when current staff is 100% engaged or when an organization, which has not yet developed the need for a full-time, marketing professional, realizes it needs proficient expertise now. In all cases, GL&A serves as the company’s top marketing executive and/or leads an existing department or project.


Based on need, a GL&A IML executive can handle the following responsibilities:

  • Create or continue the marketing strategy and develop formal marketing plans
